Banyan Foundation started its groundbreaking program with informal primary education for the out of school children living in a slum in Dhaka and named it Banyan School. So education has always been an important development program for the foundation
to ensure a sustainable progress in the lives of these deprived unaward groups, as literacy will make them more conscious about their basic needs and help them make a better life.
We have an extensive plan to bring the light of literacy to the most remote regions where people do not have the accessibility even to the basic education, and in long run implement the secondary level education successfully.
Along the schooling program in the slum and in the remote rural areas, we have been running schooling program for the floating children in the urban areas, such as for the children living near Dhaka Airport Raliway Station and at Komlapur railway station.
