Banyan Foundation is currently working at different spots
in Dhaka and in Modhupur,Tangail for the disadvantaged people, particularly children and women, who do not have accessibility to the basics rights and means of income. We have a fixed place in a slum at Mohakhali, Dhaka to teach the kids and provide the vocational training for the adult women in the slum.
In addition, in the remote of Modhupur, Tangail, we run a school where the 25 children mostly from the local aboriginal families are the students in that school. And in Dhakla, we have a school in a slum, called Godown Bosti, in
Banani as well as a vocational training centers over there for the girls ages ranging from 15 to 22 years old, who neither go to school nor do any works. Other than that, we have mobile schooling program for the floating children located in Dhaka Airport Rail Way station and in Komlapur railway station.
Banyan Foundation's key working areas comprise of some of the most remote and inaccessible chars, riverbank, and swamps and in the coastal areas of Bangladesh.
